Haiti's Bold Performance in Turkey at the Pink Ladies Cup Ends with 2-1 Loss to Russia

The Haitian women's national football team won two of the three matches they played in Turkey as part of the tournament known as the Pink Ladies Cup, defeating Jordan (4-2) and Taiwan (3-2) before losing to Russia (2-1).

Under the guidance of their new head coach, Malou Quignette, the Grenadières kicked off the tournament against Jordan on October 23. For this match, the coach fielded an unprecedented lineup, including goalkeeper Kerly Théus and players Tabita Joseph, Maudeline Moryl, Amandine Pierre-Louis, Kethna Louis, Bethina Petit-Frère, Jasmine Vilgrain, Dayana Pierre-Louis, Anyssa Ibrahim, Batcheba Louis, and Schwendesky Joseph. At the end of regulation time, Haiti emerged victorious (4-2) with goals from Anyssa Ibrahim (20'),
